Kemptville Skating Club

Welcome to the Kemptville Skating Club

The Kemptville Skating Club is a registered club of Skate Canada. This ensures that the programs offered, the skills developed, and the instruction provided to our skaters all meet a specified standard that is consistent across Canada.

All of our coaches are certified by Skate Canada through the 3M National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP), and our coaches, in turn, train our volunteer Program Assistants to assist on the ice with instruction. Kemptville Skating Club develops skaters of all ages and abilities, from recreational first-time skaters to competitive skaters.

We offer year round skating sessions: Fall/Winter, Spring, and Summer sessions.

The Kemptville Skating Club has been providing quality programs since 1970. All programs are available at the North Grenville Municipal Centre.

The mission of the Kemptville Skating Club is to provide quality skating programs for all levels of skaters, recreational to competitive, in which the skills of each skater are developed to their highest potential.

Fundraising - Chocolate Sales
All skaters registering for the Winter 09-10 programs will pay the mandatory $60 Fundraising fee show on the Registration Forms.  The fee is per family, not skater.
This year our fundraiser is selling Chocolates from Lamontagne - your $60 covers the costs upfront, so when you sell your chocolates, you keep the $60.
Funds raised will be used to benefit all members within the club.  A not-for-profit, volunteer run organization such as the Kemptville Skating Club struggles against increasing ice costs and overhead expenses.  Our Executive is a dedicated group of volunteers who give their time and talents to help out.  All fundraising efforts are used to effectively minimize every programs increase and to provide the highest quality of programming (i.e. coaching and materials) to all our skaters.
If you have not received your box of chocolates or would like more to sell, please contact Laurie Brown, Vice President, @ 613-269-2590
Used Clothing and Skates
Gently Used Clothing and Skates A wide selection of skating outfits and skates are for sale.  If you require any further information, contact a member of the executive for more info.
